Artifact
This work translates a functional Twister game board into a hand-made rug, transforming a familiar object into a site of embodied regulation. When activated, the rug choreographs bodies into awkward, constrained positions dictated by an external rule system. Movement becomes performative compliance, revealing how play and discipline can coexist. The softness of the rug contrasts with the rigidity of the rules it enforces. By embedding instruction into material form, the work exposes how systems quietly script interaction under the guise of participation.
